Warsaw

We arrived at an ungodly hour of 6am at the Warsaw bus station. M’s relative graciously picked us up and took us to their place where we stayed the night.

Warsaw was quite cold. We went to see the old town which was completely rebuilt after WWII. In the old town a gypsy lady passed by me and asked for money, when I ignored her she called me “Kurwa” which means B****! That’s why we avoid gypsies!

Anyways we took a stroll around the Lazenki gardens but it was all covered in snow so there wasn’t too much to see. Because the sun was shining the ice on the roofs were all melting and falling down to the pavement. M had a close call of having a fist size ice falling on his head! And old lady on a cane almost got locked out as well. this is quite dangerous!

Really good bakery

Warsaw is pretty but I think we will nee to come back in the summer to truly enjoy it.

Travel tip: Polskibus seems to have the best prices for travelling around Poland and neighbouring countries. Wifi is provided. Much faster than train travel.
