Tripani & Erice

For our last stop in Sicily we spent two nights in Trapani. We really like Trapani as it has everything we want: pedestrian only streets, beautiful views and miles of beaches.

After finding our AirBnB studio located right in the old city we went straight to the beach. M has a terrible farmers tan as a result from all our travels so we spent some time tanning and lying on the beach.

The next day we took a day trip to Erice which is a town surrounded by medieval walls right on top of the mountain next to Trapani. One can reach Erice either by cable car or bus; the bus was cheaper so we took that but if I come back I would love to take the cable car as the view is to die for.

Erice is extremely pretty with lots of churches all surrounded by a big protective wall. The streets are all cobblestone and as it is located on the top of the mountain one gets a panoramic view of the surrounding. I took a lot of photos.

We left Sicily after that with good memories. Next time, we are renting a car.

Hong Kong. Travel. Climb. In that order.
