Summer nights in the city.

Lately I have been focusing too much on climbing, so here is something else I did on a chill night.

A couple weeks ago I went to check out the new night market at the old Police Married Quarters in Central.

There is food and music in the courtyard and stores on the side. As a venue it was great, but as a night market it was terrible because almost everything was insanely expensive. Such as a $100,000 sculpture. I prefer the Taiwan night markets where everything is cheap and there are no pretentious people.

Eventually we made it out of the market and into a hip Japanese bar, Ozu. Here is a very good sake based drink.

Ozu kicked us out a bit later since we didn`t reserve seats. So off we went to the IFC to sit and drink at their terrace for free. Why not, the view is good, the seats are plentiful, there is a nice breeze and there is no server pushing you to order more. And excellent way to end a chill night out.

Hong Kong. Travel. Climb. In that order.
